As your all familiar with, Pakistan is flooded with video games and dvd’s.
My question is, being based in Canada, we use the NTSC system instead of the PAL system used in Pakistan.
If I were to get some DVD’s (not vcd’s) and Video Games (Nintendo Gamecube) brought back to Canada, would they work in our dvd players and game consoles?
Do you guys recommend any specific place to buy DVD’s and games from in Lahore or Islamabad? And what would the cost per DVD and Video Game be in Rs.?
I dont know if the system in Holland is the same or different as in Canada.. But I always get DVD's over there..in Lahore n Karachi.. n they always work perfect here in Holland.. Ma chachoo always buys video games for ma cousin.. for PSP..Nitendo n Playstation..they're perfect..
I dont know about lahore or isb but in karachi the dvd price is around 80 rupees and around 100 for xbox ps2 games. you wont be able to find any gamecube games since they cant be copied . most of the dvds will work on your dvd player as long as it is multiregional. dont go to the shops in malls and expensive areas they rip u off by selling dvds for 150-200 rupees
i got a lot of dvds from pakistan (mainly in lahore -mall/hall road..something like that)..they all worked, except The Lion King and The Message. I especially liked the dvds that have 5 movies in one dvd..more bang for your buck i say!
PChamp its not problem with the DVD.. but if you get some problem at watching it then change the DVD option from it size.. I am not sure to which size you must fix it I mean RATIO
I dont know why anyone would want to bring DVDs from Pakistan when almost everything is available for download unless you are talking about something very specific.
