Ayub Khan was one of the best leaders we had... he used to say that as long as the ratio is 4:1 (Four Indian soldiers on one Pakistani soldier), Pakistanis dont have to worry.. BBC did a survey in 1971 before the war and agreed with him. They found Indians soldiers to be small, weak, unprepared and fragile looking- that proves that the difference in races does matter!

man,
even if a country have tanks and fighting planes...it doesnt mean that they will win.
and pakistan didnt win that war....the matter of the fact is that they have never won any war against india.
sorry if i have hurt ur feelings by telling u the truth. i m not an anti-pakistani, infact most of my frds are pakistani...here in canada. but i couldnt stand seeing u guys saying that u won the war.
please dont bring up kashmir issue.its a touchy topic for us and maybe for u too.

Pakistan held its own against a much bigger country that in itself is a victory.

India to this day is still unable to capture Kashmir via the use of force, that in itself is also a victory. A few hundred fighters gave India a bloody nose in Kargil.

Having said that this is an entertainment website, military affairs would be better discussed on a military forum website.

yes Ayub was a good leader but I blame him for setting the wrong trend of military rule in Pakistan. Yes our inept politicians are also partly to blame but I would still rather have civilian rule rather than military rule

So who won...I heard one of the Indian General was Qadianni and he was leading a whole regiment of Qadiannis against Pakistanris and they prevented them from taking Kashmir....

We could have taken kasmeer in 1962 if it was not amreeka squeezing Ayubs balls. Don’t forget the sanctions of 1965 for making love to india for crossing the international border… And the list is endless…
