Never mind whether Humayun is glued to Meera ( which I don't think he is ), the more important and critical question is - what the heck has happened to English journalism in Pakistan? Is "Times of Lahore" even a real paper? Try to read the write-up of this news item. Is this how bad the literary standards have become in Pakistan now ?
"The world’s scenario changed after the 9/11 attacks to humanity People from the entire world and from all walks of life felt and smelled the effect. Who were dead mentally and physically they are history bt who were wounded mentally and physically they are still facing the cruelest of life Its the one episode of those innocent people who were victimizing after 9/11 attacks or in other words life without doing any crime."
Shehzad Rafique belongs to the same breed of semi-literate film makers of Lahore that have brought such notoriety to the movie industry. I really wouldn't bank on him to pen the storyline and hire a rank newcomer to direct a movie -- something which even established veterans from the showbiz fraternity hesitate to do.
I expect a disaster here. They may get the post-production done abroad and overall the film might end up looking marginally better than other productions, but given the total lack of intellect on part of the team, not much hopes here. "People who were dead mentally and physically"!!!!!.....yeah right!!
