last weekend i tried skype from phone to pc. Not very good. chopy video,keeps switching contact status from online to offline.

Viber worked fine on my tablet but i was unable to do tablet to pc chat from viber.

Fring worked for me nokia to iphone video chat. Never tried voice call on fring.

I heard from a lot that Tang video calls just work fine but unfortunately its not available for nokia.

I'm using nokia x6 and would like to make voice/video call with samsung.

I would probably recommend Skype but then this thread is about Tango and Viber. I think you should choose the one which most of your friends have. Both have nice smartphone apps. Viber have been improving their desktop client and smartphone app quite a lot recently. I would recommend skype as it is available on most of the platforms, then Viber and in the end Tango.
