i heard Rauf Klasra use this word quite frequently.
what do you understand by this phrase? why the name of an Indian City, Bhatinda [in Punjab], is used in this phrase?
ihave been using this phrase since my childhood when i had no idea about the geographic location of Bhatinda and the word ‘VIA’ itself because i hadn’t learned English yet.
I think Bhatinda was one of the earliest junction/routes built in British era

Route between Delhi and Amritsar-Lahore is via Bhatinda :)

Lahore is in other side of border. I travel punjab via Patiala because of Nanihal and highway is better only In UP GT road has any significance other than that even in Pakistan GT has no importance now :)
