So yeah, what would you rather have? Unrequited love (or crush or like), or a friendship lost? Would telling the other person about your feelings take precedence over the fact that you just might lose the frirendship if you open your mouth? Is telling once enough, even if it was a bit too late?

well unreq crush/like/love is no big deal.. i'd much rather have a good solid friendship than any "romantricK" love/like thing..
