Qeema pakoray

I just saw some lady making it on PTV. Basically, it's with a besan base, plus lots of keema, onion, hari mirch, lil bit of podina, dhaniya, lemon juice and other masalajaat, plus one anda. Mix it all together and deep fry.

Re: Versatile Qeema

Oh that sounds so yum.

Why the anda though :(

Re: Versatile Qeema

holds it together..

qeema baked into puff pastry...
prepare your qeema as you like. get some tenderflake puff pastry, thaw it out, roll it into a thin sheet. cut the sheet up into even rectangles. spoon some qeema into each and you can top it with some shredded cheese if you like. fold up the puff pastry. brush with a beaten egg for that lovely glossy finish. bake for 20 minutes (or according to tenderflake package directions) and voila! perfect appetizers that really impress!

qeema with spaghetti...
while cooking your qeema, add a big can of crushed tomatoes, a spoonfull of crushed red chilli peppers, and a variety of chopped veggies (zucchini tastes really good). once done, spoon over spaghetti and sprinkle with shredded cheese. delish! :)

sloppy joe's with qeema...
make your qeema with lots and lots of tomatoes and don't cook it to the point where all the liquid is dried. spoon onto toast and voila! sloppy joe's!

i know these recipes are crazy easy, but i like easy cooking- it tastes good and sometimes, things don't have to be complicated.
