Re: VERDIT OF SUPREME JUDICIAL COUNCIL.......

Whats the point of holding your breath when the verdict of the council is already so obvious.

Re: VERDIT OF SUPREME JUDICIAL COUNCIL.......

Mush is caught in a very difficult position, if the verdict goes for him nobody will accept it and he knows that well and his days will be numbered, if it goes against him then he will have heck of a time getting himself elected again by the same assemblies or engineering the next elections for his loyal lotas since the CJ will not let these illegal things happen
Best option for him would be to reinstae the CJ and hold elections under someone credible like Asghar khan and let real representative of the people decide about his presidency, I am sure with genuine elections all the lotas will lose bad time and that is the reason they will never let that happen

Re: VERDIT OF SUPREME JUDICIAL COUNCIL.......

roughly how long will it take judicial council to reach the verdict in this case?

Re: VERDIT OF SUPREME JUDICIAL COUNCIL.......

^Aitzaaz hussein said minimum 5-6 months.

Re: VERDIT OF SUPREME JUDICIAL COUNCIL.......

KARACHI: Govt will accept SJC verdict: PM

By Shamim-ur-Rahman

KARACHI, March 21: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said here on Wednesday that the reference against the Chief Justice was filed in the Supreme Judicial Council after meeting all constitutional requirements.

Presiding over a high-level meeting held to review the law and order situation, particularly in Sindh, Mr Aziz said the government believed in the supremacy of law and would accept the Supreme Judicial Council’s verdict.

The prime minister attended the meeting at Governor’s House soon after arriving in the city from Gwadar. Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad, Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Khan Ghouri and Minister of State for Information Senator Tariq Azim, attended.

A press release issued by the Press Information Department said the prime minister stressed that every effort be made to ensure safety and security of the citizens. However, well-placed sources said the participants’ overriding concern was the growing public unrest over the CJP issue, and its use by political parties.
