Better than Giles 
Even Pietersen is better than Giles. As usual English media is famous for over rating players and thats what they did with Giles. For god’s sake he has a bowling average of 40 in both forms of the game.
Too early to pass any verdict on Monty. I didn’t see him bowling against India however I don’t think he was a threat to Indian batsmen.
Today he was impressive but as Ehsan bhai said, you can’t be convinced. Under exremely pressure situation with Pakistani batsmen playing without any purpose, they can make any one a hero. I think today it was his lucky day.
I have a feeling that he is a sort of bowler who can very easily be unsettled by aggresvive batting. Thats how players from subcontinet in the past, have often ended careers of alot of so called “promising” spinners, prematurely.
