Verdict. Babri site to be split, Hindus to get 2/3, Muslims to get 1/3

Re: Verdict. Babri site to be split, Hindus to get 2/3, Muslims to get 1/3

This makes little sense to me. The verdict rewards those who destroyed the mosque with a disproportionate share of the land it once stood upon, and yet you suggest there is still this idea that bringing down the mosque was criminal in the first place? How could we even arrive at this kind of verdict, or even find any need to dive into ancient history, if it is recognized that the destruction of the mosque was not legal?

Justifying? Indeed, many of us question if the existence of Pakistan was a good idea. You see, I’m not so dead set against India that I cannot forsee the possibility that a unitied Indian subcont. would have been good. Verdicts like these convince that it wouldn’t have worked.
