I’ve been on so many boards/list serves but this is the first time I’ve experienced the following-
I’m on an NYC Muslim list serve that shares events…i recently posted an event the mod asked me to re-post it with a comment. It’s an event I’m supposed to comment on it???
I don’t have the time, i forward things and then delete it.
Yesterday i did the same, commented “this looks interesting”. BUT FORGOT the salaam/asak…can you believe the mod has the time and initiative to say very nicely please re-post with the proper greeting??/??

I’m also not bothering giving feed back to the Mod…know this time of mentatlity and he feels justified. It’s silly and complete waste of my time but had to vent so here i am.
i find it a bit hypocritical just got 4 emails not one of them had salaam...or a comment...but i'm not going to antagonize the Mod because this is the only source of Islamic Info i've found in NYC.
I hate any type of forwards, i delete them and i dont even givefreinds my email address coz they’ll fill it wiht crap.. NO i don’t care if u photoshop the word coca cola and change it around it turns into something unislamic, or if i dont send this email to a hundred ppl, im gonna burn in hell..
By strong feelings I meant I dislike those who forward all their junk emails to my Inbox... the spam forwarders. Not to imply that you are one, ofcourse. I am sure it was an interesting event that you forwarded to the group and then deleted from your Inbox.
