Oh I so love velvet.It makes any dress looks opulent.
Some dresses I did using velvet, as base material and as applics / body cuts etc.

ahhh i can’t get enough of it! I so wish my wedding was in fall or winter so i could incorporate it into my outfits!

My wedding is in March, but that is still winter in Canada, so I have some velvet borders on my outfit, and my fiances sherwani has some velvet touches in it too. It looks fabulous!!!!

just saw THE most gorgeous ivory chiffon sari with gold velvet appliques in a damask pattern all along the border and pallu. they were large scale too which made it so different, and although i normally prefer smaller print, this has me thinking i need to get one for myself too!

I need help. How do these velvet saress work? I mean they look like as if the velvet is only forming the 'pallo' and the rest is chiffon.
I am referring to Anuskha above.
