Make it darkar, like mehroon or something..i think it will look amazing!
You don’t want the lehnga to blend it, specially when you’re getting it in velvet.. also, it’s really difficult to get it in the same shade as the shirt..

Thanks. My lengha is georgette, the velvet will only be a border with gold kaam on top. And my dupatta is net, so the work can be seen. (Although I wasn’t too keen on net, I’ve seen it on almost every bridal outfit here in the UK, and I like the idea of my hair-do showing :)).

I agree, make the velvet a darker shade, it’ll look beautiful. I’ve seen lighter shades of velvet and it’ll looked washed out if it’s too light, whereas the darker shade will make the work stand out more
