Just saw a commercial for this. Anyone tried it on desi stock of hair?
Re: Veet wax strips
Won't work if you have coarse hair, it will just get broken off - hard wax is better for thicker hair. But they work well for finer hair types.
Re: Veet wax strips
DON'T EVER USE IT!
I tried it once and the wax stuck with the hair and the wax wouldn't come off. It was stuck on the hair. I had to pull the strips real hard to get the wax off and it ended up leaving a mark too.
Re: Veet wax strips
They are great. I have been using them for ages now, really reduced my hair growth :k:
Re: Veet wax strips
They are superb. I have been using them for a long time and the result is really great.
@Hadeel...there are different kinds and packets for that. If you buy a basic one, it will cost you cheap but they wont provide you the wax-strip after tissues... while I buy the advanced one, bit expensive but they provide the tissues along which are quite helpful to remove the stickiness after you use the wax strip.... it removes the stickiness immediately :)

I don't think they're any different kinds. The Veet ones have tissues with them. And I got the ones with tissues. I don't know about expensive or cheap.
They didn't work for me and ended up leaving a mark because I had to pull harder to get the hair out. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Re: Veet wax strips
Veet wax strip was a nightmare for me :/ Oriental wax is awesome and so is Easywax roll on.
Re: Veet wax strips
Veet works fine ...
Re: Veet wax strips
They are fine, if you are experienced with the other hot wax, they are a lot more convenient than that. The tissues work nicely to remove the chip-chip, if not, try using a little baby oil with cotton. The only thing I don't like is their size. It is small for me, I would rather prefer a large strip n go through the pain in as fewer goes as possible.
Re: Veet wax strips
Never had an issue with them, they work better if you rub them a bit to warm them up too
Re: Veet wax strips
They work great
Re: Veet wax strips
I've been using these on and off for a couple of years now and they work perfectly fine.
Around a year ago I switched to the Veet Easy Wax electrical roll-on kit, which although takes much longer than they claim to heat up (around an hour for me), works SO effectively at removing any hair and leaves the skin smooth.
Re: Veet wax strips
^It shouldn’t take more than 15 mins. Mine heats up in 15-20 mins.
BTW it’s been ages since I last saw you posting in the eye makeup thread ![]()
Re: Veet wax strips
I use the facial one for upperlips, great never any issued rub them in your hand and then apply , they comes wth tissue but I never use those tissues just little good moisture on cotton balls n apply that, just perfect. if you not use it properly then have issues you just have to apply it properly and take it off in right way.
