But Abram is shahrukh khans creation because his wife is hindu. Muslims have names like ibrahim raheem etc. You can't be muslim and name ur son/daughter after a Hindu god, thats just daft. But you can expect any thing from veena..

Rather than mock Veena ji, maybe there is a lesson to be learnt here from SRK And Veena ji. SRK is sensitive to the fact his wife is Hindu. So he accommodated BOTH religions. Good for VJ. Reminds me of Kabir Das.

There’s some contorversy over the origin of the name..

If true it’s not too different from calling your son “Daniel” or “Daniyal” or any other Abrahamic name..

Plenty of Muslims have names which aren’t Arabic in origin or are used by Hindus or people of other religions as well though.. There was a really pretty name someone menioned in Parenting a while back which sounded Muslim or Arabic but had Hindu roots.. Annoying I can’t remember it..

If veena ji stops making a fool of herself nobody would mock her, copying a name new of a baby not even a year old is so lame.. and about srk, his wife is hindu so he thought of making her happy by naming their child abram but who's veena trying to please? She's just a silly woman who became famous doing silly things.

Amir means ones who gives rules or a dictator. Amar is immortal if I am not wrong, I’ve not heard that name except in bollywood films same with sameer. Meera and Veena changed their birth names :bummer:

1st of all, we Muslims are different from other religions n we have our own identity. Names do have effect on our Personality. And this is why it is one of baby's rights that it is named a good name. Do not know what she wants to prove. I think she wants to copy half hindu ,Shakhruk khan. She likes hindu culture and remember, she Put Gunesh Muriti, one of hindu GODs in her house. So i am not surprised. I was expecting this blunder and here she comes.... Woohoooo malko ka nam dabo dia.. Mental case.
