yeah same i m thinking these days , i have history of c-sec before but i want to have vbac (inshaALLAH)… my baby was breech 2weeks baq but alhamdulillah he/she is head down mean in normal condition for birth…

I know a lot of people have had difficult natural births but I also think the skill level of your doctor or midwife has a lot to do with it too.
For eg, when my mom was delivering my older brother- her first born- in Pakistan in the late 70s, she had no epidural and the doctors made her push before she was fully dilated because they had no friggin clue what they were doing. She had third degree tearing and was in a tremendous amount of pain, during and for a long time after too. Maybe her case was a one-off but listening to stories of unethical doctors and practices in Pakistan on GS scares the bejeesus out of me.
On the flip side, I know a friend who had a home birth with midwives and while, yes, it was painful, she had no tearing because her midwife was so skilled in bringing the baby out despite the fact that he was holding his head in his hands. She literally guided him out every step of the way with her hands.
My point is, however you choose to deliver, make sure you also have a highly skilled and reputable caregiver to give you the best chance of success. If you have any doubts at all about their capabilities, address those immediately. The rest really is up to Allah.
