various 'schools' of thought in Islam

Re: various ‘schools’ of thought in Islam

Peace Sidi vroom

Please leave this bad mouthing of scholars … :frowning:

Sh. GF Haddad is a well decorated scholar … He has over 150 ijazas … how many do you have? Or the people who you have been quoting?

Why is it that my Shaykh and my wife’s Shaykh (hareem01) who you say are both from Ahl-us-Sunnah yet you can say this about this individual? Both my wife’s Shaykh and my Shaykh are GF Haddad’s teachers …

Below I have pasted a piece about Shaykh GF Haddad from the site that you also quote from - SeekersGuidance and I also study from them too …

You claim to be respecting the and honouring the scholars but all I see is reduction and separation at every turn …

It was in this same year that he met his teacher Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani of Cyprus, from whom he took the Naqshbandi tariqah. Shortly thereafter, he met Shaykh Hisham Kabbani, who guided him to begin his path in seeking sacred knowledge.
He went on to studyfor about a decade in Damascus, under many esteemed scholars such as Shaykh Nur Al Din Itr, Shaykh Adib Kallas, Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqubi, Shaykh Abd Al-Hadi Kharsa, Dr Samer Al-Nass and Dr. Muhammad Muti Al-Hafiz.
He is now an accomplished scholar, religious leader, author and Arabic translator and was listed amongst the 500 Most Influential Muslims In The World. He holds ijazas from over 150 scholars across the Muslim world.
