Hey… i have just learned about the lawn prints created by vaneeza ahmad..but i read somewhere that they were exhibited only for a limited period of time…Can somebody tell me if they are still available in Karachi?..if yes, then where can one get these lawn?..what is theprice range?..and yes, the most important thing wud be DID SOMEBODY BUY ANY LAWN FROM HER LINE?..WERE THEY WORTH THE PRICE, I MEAN QUALITY WISE?..

any input would be appreciated!

( to the mods, i remember myself creating one thread on this topic but i cannot find it anywhere… i made it in the Fashion and beauty column…can somebody tell me what could have happened:confused: ?

i believe it was a long time ago, they are not available now.

There were a selected number of prints in the lawn, the quality was medium so not as high end as al-karam but just around mossamari lawn. My sister bought some for her self (chocolate brown with firozi) and she said it was nice, but nothing exceptional.

its a type of kapra that ppl in PK wear in the summer time....it is thinner than cotton....

thanks very much for the input, friends:) !..actually, i saw a couple of her lawn prints and kind of liked it..so that is why i was interested..but since as some of you said that it’s not exceptional then it’s fine…but yes, whenever i see Gulahmad, alkaram, classic lawn prints, i start dro0ling:love: really…it has been 5 years since my last visit to Pakistan and i cannot wait to go back and indulge myself in lawn shopping:halo: …there is so much more variety out there now, isn’t it?..by the way, where do you guys get your lawn prints from?..any specific location?..

for those who don’t know what lawn is, it’s a kind of fabric which is thinner than cotton and is very soft and comfortable specially in summer.

to make even more money than they are without "DESIGNING" and creating their lines of cloth:D

bellarie u can get it from HKB or from Saleem Fabrics in Liberty Lahore.....

OMG iI didn't know she had her own lawn thing going on!! I too love lawn. You can get some from London- green street, it's not the season for it anymore though. I just get mine sent from pakistan. I noticed on the above link that she has ready made suits- they look good too- do you know weather it's only based in Karachi or have they got her stuff in Lahore or pindi?
