Ok i watched it yesterday(got some premiur exclusive tickets luckily) and it is a grea8 movie. U will not get bored any where during the movie. It has really cool effects, nice background music, and nice story.
Its about Ven Helsingh, who goes to the place of dracula to kill him. Good thing about the movie is that it will give u lots of durin the movie..all of sudden u will see vampire faces…warewovez and so on.
3 brides of dracula are really cool…spec. when they make those wierd noises and fly everywhere like crazy. Its jus amazinf facts.
There is a scene when van helsingh is takin frankenstein on this buggy, and suddenly those horses make this fly jump over the bridge cuz its broken..that scene is really cool. There are loads of cool effects.
So i personally suggest that everyone shud watch this movie, and yea its watcahble with family, only 5 second kissin scene in it during the whole film. so it is F-Rated yaani family rated.
Cannot reveal much of the story, or there will be no suspense.
Not sure about this one. Kinda disturbing that it's aimed at families with the 12A rating, so it might be a bit tame considering the subject. A sort of Harry Potter version of Dracula if you like.
its scary yea...but not like freddy jason horror jus normal vampire ..and monstors stuff...if u have seen UNDERWORLD its very much like that, but with nicer n cooler effects.
But there are some chockin scenes which come all of sudden...if u watch it in cinema they will sure give u a :-O
The Good:
- Hugh Jackman
- Sexy Kate Beckingsale
- Dracula was by far my favorite character
- Very nice cleavage shots
- Some of the action was good
- Frankenstein
The Bad:
- A little korny with both the action and the story
- Some overacting by the Kate Beckingsale in the movie
The Ugly:
- Those terrible accents
i would say it was pretty good but then again i didn't have high expectations going into it or anything. 6 /10. Worth a look for most people - although at 9 bucks a pop - wait for the rental or download.
i reckon Van helsing's mid way between LXG and lord of the rings, LXG because it does have a ref to famous fantastical caracters like dracula and frankenstein and lord of the rings with all those gross fighting scenes....
Just got back from watching this and when I said it would probably turn out to be a Harry Potter’s version Dracula I did an injustice. To Harry Potter. The movie has some spectacular scenery in it but it’s still bad. Which makes it spectacularly bad.
There isn’t a single worthwhile character…Dracula is lame, the wolf looks like a cartoon and Frankenstein’s monster looks like Zaalim’s icon (Victor Meldrew). I’m not sure what accent Hugh Jackman was trying to replicate but it sounded like an attempt at Scottish with a pole stuck up his arse.
Plus points: Jackman’s brunette sidekick looked nice in her tight pants and leather boots and Dracula’s brides showed some decent cleavage so there’s a bit of eye candy but that’s it.
ok let me rephrase that…you sis had a point and you recognised that which was great…and Jackman wasn’t at his best after all which we all agree upon
