So since I have curly hair, which I adore by the way, I am hoping to do something similar to this on my Valima. It took me 2 hours to get my hair to behave and look like that & I hope you agree it looked great:p I want to have some curls draping over my shoulder and the profile to have a similar look like I did in the picture.
yeah that's hot! my hair is like wavy/curly and i've been trying to get it to do that since I got it cut! But no luck...
it looks really good though.
Thanks LK! I want to do that for my Valima..!:p I have those rolling-curling-electric brushe-thingie that I used for that..lol! Not sure what it's called:p
Depends, if you pin some of it back (lookup Jessica Simpson's wedding hairdo) then it has potential. Otherwise I think its not wedding hairdo material. Do look at her photo with the veil tho.

Obviously it'll have a few modifications - I can't let the whole thing hang out..
Ps: Jessica's veil photo? I have no idea what you're talking about. Is her photo really that popular??
Sorry President, its late and i’m making no sense! I met like this, because i have naturally curly hair and if its not pinned down by the end of the night it turns into an afro.
Anyway didn’t mean to be rude was just being honest
Oh no, you weren’t being rude at all. I just wasn’t sure what picture you were talking about.
Ooh, the hair looks nice in that picture..! I was thinking something like that too.. Thanks for sharing! i have a better idea of how it should look now
Oh wow. YourPresident, you are absolutely beautiful! Reminds me of Sophia Loren when she was young & beautiful!
As for the 'look', well, I don't know anything about that. lol. I'm going to have to pass on the question. By the way, I sent you a friend request on facebook. My wife and I share the same account thus the name. lol..
YourPresident, i think the look you are trying to achieve will definetly look good for walima as i beleive that brides should opt for two different makeup/hairstyles for both the wedding n walima day, its sooo boring when ppl end up wid d same style of makeup/hair on both days just bcos they thought it suited them best n was a safer option...
Its best if brides experiment wid various styles of makeup n hair themselves to get an idea of what suits them, what kind of styles stay put, and what compliments their outfit/jewellery... dats why trials are always recommended - at least 1-3 months before your big day...
i personally think d hairstyle u choose does depend on your face shape, jewellery, style of makeup and clothing as well as the type and how heavy the actual duppatta is.... if its very light then this hairstyle is fine... however if duppatta is slightly or very heavy its best to either opt for the hairpiece curls / extensions attached to your own hair (as they give better volume and stay in place firmly) or just to do a half-up half-down hairstyle... where you create the curls all-over (as you have done in the pic) and then tie up half your hair so you can easily attach the tikka/jewellery and the duppatta to it to stay in place all day....
^ I completely agree SW. I’m all for different looks at each event. That’s half the fun! haha..!
I am definitely not going to have a heavy dubatta.. So your ideas are excellent!
Thank you!
Thanks people! I know what I want now:k:
Much love!
