Alll us friends at college put all our names into a bag, then picked one out. Whoevers name we had, we had to handmake them a V card.
We didnt know who had our name until the day.
It was so memorable, mainly coz we're all single! :D
The friend who had mine is one closet to me, she spent so much time doing it, the best part was the message, she mentioned how much our friendship meant to her, and she never wanted anything to come between us. I've read it so many times and it still makes me all teary.
I made it for another close firnd who i love to bits coz we're so similar! and dedicated a song to her which we're always singing.
It was all good fun, and it was great to see soo many happy girls.
You guys should do it!! you'll love it trust me, definately brings you all closer. Who said you need a man :P
we were invited at friend’s birthday party, after coming back from there we had lil argument & i went upstairs angerly, but then i wanted to make things better so i switch off all lights, glow candles in votives n put them everywhere in room, spread fabric silk rose petals, wrap his gift bag (a shirt from his favourite brand) & put it infront of door, & played the music Mar jawan (fashion movie), n when hubby came up stairs, opened the door n got SURPRISED!!! then we just smiled at eachother, and he took out a perfume gift for me :d (my fav one) which he was hiding at his back, then we did lil couple dance on the slow music in candle light
Mine went great! Though it was a SIMPLE one... no celebrations!
I just waited for 1AM, it's 12 there.. and when he attened the phone, we just did normal chit-chat... and I then realised that he didnt remeber the day/date... I wished him simple without using any fancy words... and he replied back even more simply by saying "would you be valentine forever, my wife?"...
Ugh my dads cousin once called me on vday. I was in khi at that time and he lives there. Let me just say I never led this guy on to believe anything was possible between us. So he called me and asked me how my day was going, I was already weirded out by him calling. Then he asked, "will u be my valentine forever?" and ofciurse I started laughing hysterically ( I was around 14-15) and then said " uhhhh... No!" that was that. Don't know what the he'll was going thru his incestuous head. I call his older brothers "chachu"
Anyway for this vday (first vday after wedding) I was at my moms house with my husband so we didn't do anything. Next day we came home and I pretty much had to beg my husband to make dinner for us and to clean the dishes :) everyday is vday anyway since I don't cook we usually either out or order in. Now I'm hungry and want a chocolate lava cake.
