Vaccum cleaning vs. one of the spouse's work-space in the lounge

conflicting scenario and wishes of both: one wants to clean up the room &
the other wants to sit back and work, as long as it takes.

what to do?

wait for the spouse until work space is left and then clean
not clean the room that day
ask the working spouse to clean at a time when the work space is freed-up
clean regardless

thoughts?

Force, push, nag, demand, sarcasm, victory, clean the room

Have some sho ko laat and get over with it!

thanks Fruadia bhai, TLK bhai and Niksik, i like the idea of the sho ko lat - i. e., chocolate.
it's one of the best things to offer to anyone.
normal everyday riff raff can be taken care of with more and more sugar.
dark chocolate is a good option that can get the message across, kindly.
