because the media hyped the faked dangers (re: autism) so much that that is what became ingrained in people’s minds. on top of that, you get all the crackpots on the internet who are convinced their is a connection spreading this false information. if anyone was to google, they would think the dangers are very true.
the more recent news of his faking the results wasn’t so big in comparison.
the medical community is in agreement that there is NO link between the mmr vaccine and autism.
vaccinations have almost irradicated some terrible infectious diseases. if more people started refusing vaccinations we would definitely see them returning.
