Re: vacation:

I just put down money for a 10 day Caribbean cruise for next January with my best frand. Aw yeah.

Re: vacation:

^sounds fun! have a good time!

Re: vacation:

Very tranquil, but village life is not for everyone. Whenever I get overwhelmed, I run off to Islamabad for a few days. Life in Islamabad is tranquil too, when you are on vacation.

Re: vacation:

Na assan kisi day, na sadda koi.

Re: vacation:

This thread made me realize that I have never taken a vacation just for the sake of taking a vacation. Couldn’t afford one. Still can’t.

Re: vacation:

^that makes me sad, but maybe in future you can IA! vacations ARE expensive but someone people can’t afford them due to time constraint. Don’t know which category you fit in. I need a vacation so badly too :frowning:

Re: vacation:

the wife and I took a couple of weeks vacation last month, and went for Umrah for 10 days to Saudia.
They were the best 2 weeks of our life in recent year or so!

Have another 2 weeks this year from mid-Ramadhan until Eid-ul-Fitr, hoping that will be good for ibadat. Hope the weather in Toronto stays good/decent for the month of Ramadhan.

Next year we’ll probably take vacation in Feb/March again…its kinda nice to get away from brutal winter…and go somewhere warm…

Re: vacation:

Can’t afford both financially and timewise. Wesay being a workohalic, I know I can’t do any good with a vacation anyway.

So what is your excuse of not having a vacation?

Re: vacation:

^no excuse just priorities and things and they can be expensive . But I am planning to take one soon IA. maybe you can take road trip, that can’t be that expensive and take work with you.

Re: vacation:

Last vacation was 5 years ago :0 My sister and I are thinking of going to Dubai this year but we are still unsure, let’s see.

Re: vacation:

^ 5 years is a long time, dubai sounds fun!

Re: vacation:

Yea, it will also be a good opportunity to assess the labor workforce first hand and see what can be done.

Re: vacation:

Vacations are expensive..which is why i am saving up. I gota insha’allah go to Umrah and Madina first. Pher..UAE, Pakistan and others..Insha’Allah.
