Lat place I visited was Marrakech. Been taking at least 2 holidays each year for past 5 years I’d say, every winter holidays and every summer holidays.

Spent the day in Lahore. Ate breakfast at Capri, beghum ordered capri nashta (halwa, puri, chanay, was promised achar but that item never arrived), while I went for 2xAamlette + saadha paratha + some of beghums nashta (to her protest).
After that it was shopping at Leebaarty Maarkeet for beghum, while I chilled with our daughter on the patch of green, next to the parking area.
Then it was off to Pace shopping Centre, for more shopping. And finally we arrived at Mall of Lahore for even more shopping. Finished the day with a meal from Bombay Chowpatty (Bombay biryani, roti, naan and chicken handi, washed down with more coke than necessary on my part).
Wife wanted us to stay in Lahore for another day, so she could do even more shopping, but I was tired of the big city. So back we went to the village, and I thanked god I survived the day without getting any cultural shocks in the city. Wife is getting tired of village life, wonder how long I can keep her here. No in-laws, no sophisticated shehris (they intimidate me), no hustle and bustle of city life, just tranquility and a bunch of crass and loud mouthed pendos, whom do not give me cultural shocks, love it.
Wonder if I saw @Sady today.

Oh it was terrible. Went to S. Cali and Vegas with hubs. We were driving each other crazy. I went bat s*** crazy on his birthday and ruined it for him. He is looking for a payback and my birthday is coming up. Nice.

No way you could’ve seen me because I have not been out for any shopping since after October 2014 because of some very silly things Im stuck up in and stressed about. Also because of winter. Pakistani markets wese bhi scary hein. Cultural shocks, yes tell me about it. Last time, I went out to get my winter coat from the laundry, I heard a loud voice that said, “Ye cheez kis planet say utri hai.” So I looked around what ‘cheez’ the voice was referring to and saw 2-3 guys looking at me and giggling. Also whoever heard that voice also looking at me and smiling. Maybe it was because of my new Pixie haircut. I usually quite much avoid going out alone. But now am trying to avoid as much as possible.
Glad that you enjoyed your trip with family Capri I have heard about alot but never been there. It’s no fun when all your family divided. Like, not all in one place so you dont like doing things you would normally enjoy doing with everyone around. I asked my mom to go at places a few times but she refuses so…

@aqua70 - yeah, our relationship is sure interesting but it is also somewhat dysfunctional. And I am sure if there was a sitcom/reality tv based on our life, it would probably be a hit.

When I’m in Pak, I prefer to stay in my village, as there is so much to do here, that it keeps me busy. I am not able to stay idle for long.
Also it gives me an opportunity to spend time with my brother, as he stays in Pak for prolonged periods of time. We get along exceptionally well, despite being diametrically different on certain issues.
