Hello everyone! Wow you guys have been at me while I was away. So now I have reservations in hell according to some. Oh well. Seems like in our repressed land, we always can pull on our intepretations of religion and lord it over others. Yes, let the Talibs rule. I decree so and so. How long do you want my beard? Or even better, am I wearing trousers that cover my knees?
And when someone asks, why the west is ahead of us or better still why we pious mussalmans ask for western tainted aid, we all shut up. Wake up and smell the coffee.
Even the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) said once that it was ok to take a woman when one was away on war/or duty (this is a paraphrase, not a quote). To those who question my belief-I believe in Allah, he is most merciful. What does mercy mean? Killing innocents in the name of religion? Is Zia a great muslim? I say no. Allah wants us to be happy-not kill ourselves. This takes courage to say this but I say it. I am confident that when I die I will die happy having saved lives instead of killing and having stolen no money, but only the virginity from WILLING girls. And they had fun too…its a two way street you know.
In summary lets not spastically critisize those who think different or the west who have progressed light years ahead of us of their ayashness but lets instead introspect and lift ourselves out of medevil darkness and into the light.
Anyway, had a blast and its back to work.
I agree with you. Our religion, a good religion, is placed in the hands of uneducated mullahs, who don't know **** about ****. They run around telling people what to do, what to wear, and who to do. The way people are brought up is frightening, children aren't given a choice in a broad minded environment, they are terrified into believing what the mullahs think is right.
The religion teaches peace, yet you don't see any peace, all you see is violence committed in the name of Allah, go to Sudan, and see how children are beaten and abused into memorizing the Quran. Do they sincerely believe that a child who is beaten into learning the Quran will have ANY respect for Islam?
Regarding the west, I can't understand why people are always criticizing the west. The United States has done more for Pakistanis than Pakistan has done for Pakistanis. I'm proud of my American citizenship, I consider this home. Most generic Pakistanis give me the generic lecture about how I'm going through an identity crisis and other ****** along those lines. They tell me I'm a second class citizen in the US. First off, that's not true, I'm treated with respect and fairness here, secondly, I'd rather be a second class citizen in a country that protects my god given human rights than be a first class citizen in a country that seems insistent on taking away every shred of dignity and right that is god given right to all human beings.
Anyhow, I apologize, i get a little insane sometimes.

great points! We are talented people, and have so much potential but guess where the potential is realized-in the secular west. Our archilles heel is that we subsume our intellect to people whose brains are no better that sheep. This, not our "neighbours" are our foremost problem.
The key to Pakistan's revival is modern secular education for all where children learn math and science and how to reason (logic, the scientific method). Islamic culture was at its greatest peak when algebra was being invented in Baghdad and science had a secure home in our world. Once a guy has the tools to reason, the world opens up to him. Otherwise we have a talib on our hands.
Our method of education is rote memorization instead of learning to understand. We should learn to examine and evaluate our culture, and get rid of the bad stuff! We have stagnated.
What a good western civilization people killing their in born, just killing their new in born son or daughter. Teens are killing each other and killing themselves no hope for life. Why this happening? Because of religion and fear of God is going out of their life. Muslims has ruled the world for about 12 hundred years. Four hundred year ago dark Europe was so worst that a famous scholar Ibne Kholdum said weather is server there and they cannot forbid their drinking habit so they cannot do any thing. I pray to God please let get us out of the psychological colonialism.
True guideness of Quran and Sunnah is only the best way in this world or there after.
What ARE you talking about? Your post is very confusing. The part that I DID understand was you saying that teens are killing teens because they don't have the fear of God in them. I agree with you there.
But don't get too cocky. Let me tell you something. The 6 or 7 high school incidents that have taken place in the last two years are NOTHING compared to what goes on in Pakistan. The only reason that the media makes such a big deal about it is that these instances are so rare. In Pakistan, every week dozens die by acts of terrorism, yet you don't take that into account. WHY? Because it's so common, people have accepted it as normal. Yet when some kids shoot some other kids in the US, you are very efficient in pointing it out.
Secondly, I don't understand the reasoning behind the typical response "...well in America Kids shoot other kids!!!". Does that argument justify the killing of people in pakistan?? Just because it may be happening in other places, is it OK for it to happen in Pakistan?
I agree with you aahmed. When you hear on the news about a child rapist or a murderer your taken aback but these incidents like you said in pakistan are so common nobody pays any attention to this. If you had a grudge against somebody even in your own family or anyone for that matter you can go outside and happily shoot them. All you need is a million rupees and your sorted. Little kids of the age of 7 go around carrying Klashnikoff's (i think thats how you spell it) so what would you expect.
What makes you guys think Pakistanis are so different from Americans in values? People like Aahmed come to America for a few dollars more and what's wrong with that? Same goes for Rickshaw drivers when they rip you off in Pakistan. They just want a few dollars more for a good life. It's not their fault that the beaurocracy and administration is rotten in Pakistan. It's a third world country and other third world countries are in the same boat as far as I can see.
The brain-drain is inevitable because people with ability will always be attracted to America or Europe by the moolah.
I have no problem with people wanting to emulate America but please speak clearly and don't bring values into this if that is what you want. America is a capitalist country with a capital 'C'. That means it will do whatever it takes to further it's own interests. This includes initiating wars at a constant level with it's competitors, nuking cities if need be, bombing countries to the stone-age to ensure they get their oil supplies at the correct price, de-stabilising governments who don't contribute to ensuring America remains the top of the pile, assassinating world leaders who don't toe the line, erode the environment if it means economic wealth in the short term, etc etc.
This is a business people and business doesn't have values so get real. Shut your traps and take the money. And let everybody else do the same whether it's in America or Pakistan. Get off your high horses. You aren't any better than anybody else.
I agree with you Mr Xtreme. Business is business. But I'd rather be on American soil. I'm sure Pakistan, or for that matter, any nation would do what America does, if only they had the capabilities. So I'd rather be in a country that nukes and destroys than in a country that GETS nuked and destroyed. I'm a money and comfort motivated person, yes I AM selfish.
If it's all about money then how do you explain that America takes better care of it's poor and cares more about human rights? Is this a money-maker too?
