My friend is looking for a rather simple bridal lehenga or sari. She is indian and having her ceremony at home. For the court wedding she’ll go for a western dress, which will be her actual wedding reception.
She was searching on utsav. Do you recommend it? hows the service?
Which other options are there (website, facebook).

one of the guppans used the site for her bridesmaids outfits, they were pretty...will post the link when i find it, it's somewhere on this forum.
just editing to say, she requested to have her pics taken down, but they were nice, and she said she had a good experience ordering from them.

I'm not sure I am the guppan they are talking about hahah. But I had my bridesmaids order from there ... 8 total... they came out phenomenal...looked even better in person than in real life. My friends told me they had a good experience in regards to customer service...they are super prompt to replying. They even get in touch with you if they think one of your measurements seem off and you should re-measure that area. Or they double check with if you if you really do want that high of neckline or short of a shirt, etc. The prices are reasonable as well. I like that tailoring to your size is not an extra cost.
After my friends got their sarees, I ordered a heavy one for myself as part of my jahaiz. It came out perfect and beautiful.

I think I know someone who ordered from here, and she said it was pretty good too. I’ve browsed the site a few times and found the prices to be good but don’t have an occaison to wear a sari to

I had a look on their website, some quite unique outfits but they are pretty and reasonably priced too! Looks like I'll have to start ordering from there!

Lol yup, it was your wedding I meant. can’t remember what they looked like (I’m such an airhead 
) but I remember specifically commenting on how pretty they were.

i ordered two sarees for my sister and one of them just came in today. I am telling you it looks better in person then it did in the picture and the color is the exact same. Also their customer service is wonderful. Def recommend it!!!

I'm not a fan of net but some of the lehngas on the site look very nice/different, not sure about the 'panelling' though :S

i placed an order for 5 of the same sari for my BMs- the order went thru and they charged me the full amount- a few weeks went by and never got a shipping confirmation so i had to contact them and then they told me they didn't have them all in stock so i had to cancel the order.. i did get my money back

btw i've seen really bad reviews on them- i think it was on their fb page- ppl saying they never got their order and not hearing back from customer service, etc..
