Free IPOD video converter
If you download videos from Youtube and then want them on the Ipod- most of the downloaded stuff comes in FLV format. This little freeware tool from Koyotesoft does a real good job. I have been using it almost 10 months without any problems. MAKE YOU CHOOSE the correct program to download : "FREE IPOD VIDEO CONVERTER 2.6

Here is another place for some cool utilities. I have only used the Duplicate Finder from here and can vouch for the program. Worked great for the duplicated I had accumulated over the years.

Re: Utility Phreaks! (Freeware only)

The following are some of the free utilities I use most often:

WinGrep - Searches for text inside files

FinePrint - A print preview that pretends to be a printer.

WinRAR

Gadwin PrintScreen - It responds to print scree and lets you draw and capture a ractangular area

Re: Utility Phreaks! (Freeware only)

HjSplit - A very good and easy to use programme for joining and splitting movies (a good tool for those who watch their movies on their PC's).

Well I think it can only join files that were split using the same programs.

Re: Utility Phreaks! (Freeware only)

a very light weight pdf file reader: Foxit: Free PDF Reader: Download and View PDFs | Foxit

It has all the qualities of Adobe’s acrobat but is way faster and loads instantly

I've used it to 'join' files only so can't comment on that.

So lets say I download something in 10 parts from youtube. Can I use this to join it into one big... ahem ...movie?

If those files are in .001 .002 type format then yes.
