As Pakistan goes to polls on Saturday if nothing else Zardari and his tola of looteraas have awakened the public of Pakistan and hopefully they will send a strong message to these destroyers of Pakistan through their votes. Inshallah it will be the start of a new dawn for a nation which has suffered untold hardships over the last 5 years. If nothing else we have to salute Zardari that during his misrule he has done two things, he has awakened the people of Pakistan and secondly he has single handedly destroyed PPP.

There is good in even situations that we perceive to be hopeless. I feel that Pakistan needed/needs* to go through purification by fire in order for the public to learn to judge people, and see who would be fit to lead the nation versus those who are in it just for personal gain. If anything the last 5 years should have taught the public; never vote on emotional blackmail and choose while weighing the Pros and Cons.
Allah works in mysterious ways. Maybe Pakistan will ascend from here onwards. We can hope.
*-I'm cautious to predict the future because I'm not certain what is in store post May 11. But I'm hopeful based on the momentum seen within the last year especially.
People are being way too excited when the election isn't even done yet. Hopefully, they would be mature and considerate if PTI doesn't win much. From what Hassan Nisar has opined in his recent columns, there is much alarm for concern about many local candidates for PTI but hopefully, the personality of Imran khan would override it all to PTI's joy.

Either way - people are riled up enough to vote and hopefully not sell they're votes this time.
And I agree with you - everyone should be prepared to accept WHOEVER wins the elections as the new* Commander in Chief* of the country. I really hope in the event that PTI looses.. Imran Khan doesnt go nuts again badmouthing anyone else. Its distasteful.
you know if PTI even comes in opposition,they are going to give very tough time to government, ppp n pml-n mei phoot per chuki hai bc of recent press conferences n ads ( but you never know these ppl) so hoping for the best, whatever happen bus hamry mulk k lye acha ho
