That is so nasty … I’ve also seen a lady in Pakistan wash her hair in the kitchen sink. I walked in and she had her back to me. So I just walked out and acted like I was never there. It was the weirdest thing I have ever seen. Weird cause each bedroom had its own bathroom. 
When we were on Hajj, there were water stations set up to do wudu and the ladies would be spitting in there too (the nasty kind with sound effects).
I was seriously traumatized.

Spitting in the kitchen sink is nasty.
But I need to know why washing hands is considered the same.I wash my hands like 10 times when I am cooking.How can you avoid that,especially after handling poultry or fish etc...???...I wash my hands there if I am in the middle of feeding of my toddler and I have to clean up sth,you know stuff like that.

washing hands after cutting poultry and washing hands after using toilet are two different things and later should be done at bathroom sink
Oh btw, its very normal in western culture to give bath to infants and even toddlers in kitchen sink. How do you guys see that act? Is it ok or nasty?

i thought about these things a lot last night. its winter and one does tend to gravitate towards such existential questions. the conclusion was it is really gross to do if you get caught, but fine if no one's looking.
as for washing hands after whatever, do you pull up your pants before or after washing hands, tlk?

Before. But I dont lick my pants afterward and change my clothes every day so its ok.

see this is why i try to avoid wearing pants as much as possible. health hazards.. and you see people wearing them pretty much everywhere, rubbing up against stuff, spreading their bathroom germs. some of them even lean against kitchen countertops. :\

Bath to infants,or even a newborn in the kitchen sink is a total no no...!!

Sink is for “washing”, you don’t eat your food in sink do you? or do you cook your food in it?
