what is enough? i suppose it depends on the length of the relationship, the intensity, and how the relationship ended. and then it depends upon the person as far as how able they are to move on
but what is too much?
Jeez, I was thinking about the same thing today, and even wrote a blog on a related topic, well a topic that stemmed from someone's relationship coming to an end. The funny part is that the 2 people involved have somewhat moved on but their families are still carving and fabricating stories about why it happened.
Anyhow, I think everybody has their own threshold of tolerating pain and agony, their own motivation to overcome, and the circumstances to get distracted and finally move on. So I guess the answer would be, each person takes their own time.
What is too much? When it's starts rubbing people around them the wrong way, such as being in the victim mode all the time, demanding sympathy, and blaming other people for the end of their relationship: why me and me alone and no one else type of mentality.
