(first of all yayyyyyyy my first ever comment here, i am a newbie)
I have used my GHDs in pakistan and there hasnt been any problem. Ofcourse I was once straightening my hair and we had a power cut (surprise surprise), got me worried as I thought my ghd was putting too much load on the system or something and the fuse has blown because of that!!! hehe turned out it was just a power cut… I didnt use any converters, we have the three pin sockets so it was easy for my to plug in and go…
