I see that alot of smaller businesses are usisng Facebook quite successfully. Are you a small business and using Facebook? how are you finding this experience and any tips for those who wish to do the same in the future?

I'm using Facebook for my business, it brings a lot of traffic!! But when using Facebook, we have to follow some steps for success!!

Also one specific question that i have , small businesses are usually very location specific or involve heavy shipping or courier costs .. on Facebook usually you get to have traffic worldwide .. so how are they useful to the local business? know what i mean? :konfused:

I am running my business successfully on FB and GS since over 4 years now Alhamdulillah and they both have been a great platform for me.

Great thread! Please give us more info people and how do customers pay the seller? How would the page owner set up a payment option and which way is better for the seller?

btw once my cousion told me that he get payment through paypal. He design website or create software as per requirements and running this business successfully.
