  1. If you want to have smooth and fine nails olive oil is the best solution. Dowse your nails in a cup of olive oil for 30 minutes and find the best results.

  2. Apply Olive oil liberally on your hands. To avoid spreading it elsewhere wear cotton gloves. This method helps you to get a smoother and softer skin.

  3. Olive oil is the best solution for chapped lips. It does wonders to your lips.

  4. To have beautiful, lustrous, shiny, silky and dandruff free hair, olive oil is the best bet. You can apply good amount of oil on your hair and cover it with a shower cap for 30 minutes, later shampoo it.

  5. It is great moisturizing solution which makes your skin softer and smoother.

  6. To make yourself an interesting bathing solution you can add 3-4 tbsp of olive oil with a few drops of essential oil.

  7. You can make an excellent night cream by using 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/4 cup water. This helps to , kill bacteria and makes your skin smooth and clear. Will need an emulsifier as the oil will not mix with the rest of the ingredints.

  8. It can work as a cleansing cream if you have dry skin. Apply olive oil and then scrub with good amount of sugar. Later, wipe the sugar off your face with wet and warm cloth. One of the easiest ways to get facial done.

  9. Soften your feet by applying olive oil on your feet.

  10. Mix in bowl 1 egg, 1 tsp honey, 1/2 tsp olive oil and few drops of rose water. Use this as a mask for dry skin. Once applied keep it for sometime, later rinse it off with warm water. Dab it dry.

  11. Make a paste by mixing some mashed apricots and warm olive oil. Apply this paste all over your face and leave it for 10 minutes. Wash it off with water.

hi,,once i heard abut olive oil dat it can cause hair growth on ur face...how far is it true??i applied olive oil but since then i hv heard this news i hv stopped using it on my face..anyone plzz share ur in4mation??

hey no it doesnt cos hair growth on the face, woman and men 4rm the medditeranian have been using olive oil on their skin for hundreds of years so that definitely isn't the case. That might be case with castor oil since whn castor oil is applied to the scalp it encourages new hair growth so i wud not advise using castor oil on the skin, but oilve oil is perfectly safe and is gud 4 the skin:)

will olive oil help darken lite eyebrows. i hev lite eyebrows nt dt lite bt i wnt mine to b darker so dey r outlines more.

hey no olive oil wont lighten ure eyebrows, if u want to lighten ure eyebrows u can get an eyebrow tint done professionaly at a salon:)
