would you be okay knowing someone has just taken advantage of you to get something accomplished via you, especially if it didn’t involve anything bad, but you weren’t explicitly told you were serving a secondary purpose?
kinda like, if your mom made you wear a red dress and go to a party coz she knew it would annoy someone there, but you love the red dress and the red dress loves youuuuu.. would you be okay if your mom didn’t tell you she’s more happy at annoying the other person than your looking prettayy?

I'd rather be a user than a "useee", but if it is to annoy someone use me all you want to.
What doesnt seem more okay is you starting a thread first thing.

anyway, just to add my two cents, if me being used pleases or facilitates a dear one, or even a stranger (but ofcourse in a positive sense, when there is no harm inflicted to anyone) Like the instance you mentioned: mom making me wear red dress to annoy someone. I think thats petty, (annoying someone even for the right reasons) so I would definitely feel bad at being used even if its my mom who would be pleased.
P.S: Did you just start a thread, that too in L1, and that too in a serious tone?
We all go through these phases of life where people try to take advantage of us or we try to take advantage of others. It is definately not nice to be used!
