Are there a lot of restaurants, other places that accept non-Pakistani Credit Cards in Pakistan within major cities? How about ATMs to withdraw money from a non-Pakistani credit card/debit card?
Re: Use of Credit/ATMs in Pakistan vs Local Currency
Almost every restaurant that accept major CCs, will accept the international cards as well (mostly visa, mastercard and amex).
Well, not every atm will let you withdraw using your international CC. The ones that worked for me previously was barclays and citi. Stanadrd chartered and HBL now. There is a limit of Rs. 25k on daily withdrawals/ Card.

Thank you PinkPearls.
What city for the compatible ATMs if you don't mind me asking? Namely Barclays/Citi.

Both in karachi, but sadly they are no longer operating. :/ Well, these were the locations that I used to go to. There might be others that I may not be aware of.

when i use my debit card at select banks in India, my bank in Canada charges me $5 for every transaction. the service fees all add up. make sure what kinda charges your bank apply to transactions done overseas [Pakistan in your cae].

Thanks brother. That's a good reminder. Most of the credit cards, fortunately, do not charge foreign transaction fees, but will find out about bank rules for ATM.
