COVINGTON, La. (AP) - A man who admitted raping two young girls has agreed to be castrated to avoid serving a life prison sentence.
Keith Raymond Fremin, 42, accepted a 25-year sentence without parole for molesting the two sisters, who were 11 and 13 at the time of the attacks in 1999.
Judge Donald Fendlason said he would revoke the sentence if Fremin does not undergo the surgery by Aug. 18. The victims, now 17 and 19, were in court Tuesday and agreed to the plea deal.
This woman who deliberately killed her daughter and tried to kill the second one will most probably be castrated aswell because she found mentally Ill. (she starved the baby to death. ) the older one who was still alive couldnt stand on her feet because of weakness.
Since this is Holland she ll be set free in 4/5 years at most. maybe 6.
She had two kids and tried to starve them to death. She was found mentally Ill, incapable of taking care of any one else. So IF she s castrated she wont be able to have kids right?
Yeah but she still has two kids that she's not treating right to begin with. How does castration solve that problem?
And maybe with some therapy she can change and become a better mother. So who is the state to castrate her and prevent her from starting on a new leaf?
The idea is to take her children into custody of the state and prevent her from ever having any more. She can have therapy, but then they are taking a chance that she would have genuinely reformed. The consequence if the chance is wrong is another dead child…
… so they are not taking the risk. She can’t be put in jail because she is mentally ill - you cannot jail people for mental disabilities unless you are the USA, in which case you can execute them for it too.
One child died. The other one has been taken away. She had been abusing the kids for several years now and from a previour marriage she had 3 kids which she damaged aswell.
She did have therapy
Some people deserve a second chance and some dont.
But maybe all the murderers in the States should be given a second chance aswell. I mean, MAYBE they ll better their lives

Firstly the problem of this man is not in his testicl** its in his head,even if u chop off all his genitilia he may molest children with his hands.
Secondly,castration does not mean that he cannot have intercourse,erection is still possible and if starts taking testosterone injection then castration will have no effect,only thing is that he cannot have children.
