Can we use straightner from usa in Pakistan? Do they work there? I will be going to Pakistan soon and wanna take my chi straightner but dont wanna burn it there.

I have a WIGO one and it specifically says not to use with a voltage converter.

Chi specifically forbids to use voltage converters to operate it, so don't take it. If you want to use one there, just buy one locally and use it for the little time you have there. You might want to try Remington.

you can buy a babyliss or remington pakistan with ceramics plates they are best in pakistan or you can have cera madic cermaic straigtener it is available in Pakistan for 12000 and is excellent as it is used in rebonding process in salon

I took my GHD's with me, and i used them with the 2 pin plug which i took from the UK too, and they were fine, they didnt blow up on me or break.

I got one at the Dubai airport...(thats what one of my friend had advice me to do, she visit pakistan at least twice a year)...i think its was abt $30-$50 and it worked great. i left it in Pakistan cuz i will be needing it on my next visit anyways.
