We seem to conveniently forget why The United States entered this war on terror in Afghanistan. Was Afghanistan not a sanctuary for terrorists, who have been bent on destroying peace all over the world and killing innocents without provocation? Would you not agree that the terrorists’ hold is broken and that most Afghans have tasted freedom today? Children are free to go to schools; men and woman are free to go to market place without the fear of Taliban goons harassing them.

No, it was your arrogance to attack Afghanistan, Taliban had offered to handover AlQaeda/Osama to third/neutral party for trial.

The Afghan security forces are trained and continue to take over more and more security responsibility for their country. On the whole, is Afghanistan not better today than it was 10 years ago under Taliban rule? If this is not a sign of progress and success, then what is?

Then why do you want to negotiate with Taliban to bring them back in power?
