Thanks for the link. Was really useful. From it, I got to knew that on 10/04/00, US Senate passed the H-1B legislation, and the biggest change, I think is that “An H-1B worker may start working for a new employer after FILING the transfer petition, provided they have not worked without authorization in the past. (Previously, they had to wait until the transfer petition was approved before starting work.)”.
This is actually quite remarkable, and will effect a lot of people, including moi, if Slick Willie Clinton signs it into law.
