Re: US used Chemical Weapons against Iraqis
Chemical weapons or no chemical weapons. It is a minor point. The bigger issue is very simple.
-War is based on WMD lies
-30,000+ innocent Iraqi civilians are killed by either insurgents or American bombs in the most brutal way
-Many many Iraqi army, police, and insurgents are killed through American bombs or fighting each other
-2,000+ American soldiers are killed
-Exit strategy of the American-British coalition remains a mystery
-Kurd, Arab, Sunni and Shia powerplays have still not resolved.
-Stable democracy remains a utopian dream with Al Qaeda in the mix
-Due to the Iraq war, Al Qaeda now has a new cause after Taliban fell on their heads in Afghanistan
-The neocon dream of a democratic stable Iraq is far in the future, and even if it happens, it's not certain if it will be pro American
Lastly I wonder which is a more painful death, having your flesh ripped away and burned by a C4 explosive planted by an insurgent or a JDAM dropped by an American F-16? The mysteries of life!
It's one thing to wage war in response to 9/11 type attacks, it's another thing to invade another country on idealistic goals alone. You better be damn sure your idealistic goals are actually reachable.
