How do you know they aren't?
USAF goes against pathetic afs like Iraq (spare part shortage with russia not supplying spares) with overwhelming advantage (using stealth, AWACs to jam/monitor and usually always cruise missiles to destroy even these pathetic jets on ground so not to face any 'challenge').
