What’s wrong with it?
Are there any signs for improvement in the future or can I regard the money I have invested there as lost?

gone!.......with war looming around the corner.....I don't think there are anys igns of recovery..
i am not an expert but i would say its not like its GONE!
i believe the existing stock market index reflects its normal status. In the past few years the market had been highly inflated due to technology share, and now since that craze is over, stock market is coming back to its normal state. However, the Govt can surely do a lot to keep the investors in the market...and going on to war at this stage is surely gonna have its adverse effects.
