Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
Those are Al-Qaeda who bomb some Shias in order to create a civil war, which will benefit them.
Do not confuse or involve them with the majority of true Iraqi insurgents fighting to liberate their country and countrymen.
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
to real deal
how do you know that?
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
because i read and talk to people who know.
This is common knowledge, hardly a state secret

OK so Qaida bombs Shias and Qaida hides among "Sunni insurgents". But the same Sunni insurgents are fighting the war of liberation.
Well 3 years on, these Sunni insurgents are doing mighty fine job. They have killed more Iraqis, created more chaos, destroyed Iraqi homes. What kind of liberation movement is that?
This is the weirdest argument I have see on the GS. Well what else can you expect from the supporters of anarchy? More arguments in favor of suicide bombing, roadside bombings, kidnapping, and killing of innocent civilians.
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
yah post in a new thread dude
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
Certain pre-requisites have to met before USA launches attacks on IRAN.
1.) If USA is still in Iraq, then it will have to move more heavy weaponry to Southern Iraq to deal with the eventual back clash of Shia against the USA attack. Tanks, APC, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, which are of little use when fighting an asymmetric warfare such as in Iraq but are devastating when in a conventional war or when putting down an uprising with little regard to damage to the infrastructure or collateral damage as any reports of USA crack down on the Shias will be drowned in press coverage of the USA attacks in Iran.
2.) Iran will respond by using Hezbollah and various other militant groups to state attacks throughout the world. USA will have first give the green-light to Israel to take out Hezbollah bases in Southern Lebanon and Syria. CIA, Mossad and MI6 agents will have to be send througout the world to target and destroy Hezbollah cells. Major bases in South Africa, the Tri-border area between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay will have to be dealt with as Hezbollah has used that area to attack Jewish targets in Argentina in 1992. So far Hezbollah has been dormant in the War on Terrorism but this could make the War on Terrorism even more harder if Hezbollah joins the game.
3.) Patriot Missile batteries, Arrow II Missile defense systems have to be placed in Iraq and Afghanistan to guard US troops from Iran's Shabab Missiles. Israel has Arrow II missiles so the Shabab missile is no threat to Israel. The vital oil fields of the middle east.
4.) US Embassies from Muslim countries will have to be evaccuated and a skeleton crew will have to be in place should rioting against the bombing spill over to the embassies.
5.) At the current assessment, there are 400 primary Targets to be hit In Iran. With an additional 200 secondary targets. With the total of 600 Targets. Aerial attacks on these attacks can be mounted only by US based carriers in the persian gulf. No arab country will allow this. USA could manouver 8 Carriers into the Persian gulf with B-52 bombers and F-117 Stealth Fighters and B-2 Stealth Bombers coming from Diego Garcia base in the Indian Ocean. A typical Nimitz class carrier carries around 70 planes. 70X8 = 560 Planes plus Tomahawk cruise missiles. Atleast 10 planes will be needed to take out one target to completely destroy it. With average flying time from US carriers in the Persian gulf to targets in Iran and back with pilot fatigue. Total time will be 4 hours to target, 1 hour over target, 4 hours back to carrier. Total of 9 hours. So 2 missions can be mounted by 10 planes each day. So around 14 missions per air-craft carrier per day. 112 Missions in 1 Day.
USA in about 1 Week to 10 days, depending how long it takes to destroy Iran's missile forces, Al Quds Brigade HQ, Revolutionary Guards HQ, Chemical and Biological weapon faciliteis, USA can take out the entire Iran's nuclear Infrastrucutre in about 10 days.
The harder to reach areas such as the Nuclear facilities build by the russians which are more than 75 feet deep under solid rock can be taken out by Tactical nuclear weapons.
Overall, USA can accomplish its goal in taking out Iran's nuclear facilites in 10 days.
That doesn't mean the cost of doing that won't be high.
Terrorist attacks, Arab and Islamic anger, Shia uprisings in Southern Iraq, joining of Al Qaeda and Hezbollah, complete isolation of USA since many European countries are against this attack.
But USA has the power to do this.
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
Everything makes sense only if US has good intellegence and we assume Iranian army wont resists.
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
and all this while the Iranians will be sitting in aitkaaf?
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
Iranians will not be sitting in aitkaaf, they will be sitting kneeled in front of Allied army soldiers begging for a bottle of water. Remember that mighty Iraqi army.
Or the Iranian army soldiers will be pissing in their pants while their bunkers will be busted and subjected to daisy cutters if they would run out.
What boggles my mind is that we have bunch of these "abroad" gone Pakistanis who pin their hopes with Iraqis, Syrians, Libyans, and worst of all Talibobs that these will be the knights in shining amour ready to bring "rishtas" for the family members of these foregone, fore-abroad Pakistanis.
Even some of our at home generals like Bibi Gul, and Bibi Beg are quick to prove the might of Talibanic madness. Suddenly these beardos run to the hills, leaving behind all those Malakandis in the hand of Northern Alliance butchers.
I fear for the safety of Iranian people, I fear for the poor Iranian kids who may get caught in the cross fire.
All these Ayatullahs will go back to France for long asylums, while Iran will continue smoldering long after this bearded curse had left the country.
May Allah save us from the curse of Mullahs.
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
Who in the world was thinking that Iraqi army would be able to put any show of resistance? Everyone knew there wasn't enough water (weapon).
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
Dunno what you are trying to say here Kaptaan Ji.
Real Armies stop the aggressors at the border. Once the other party is inside the country then you don't have nothing to show. Killing your own people in the name of "resistance" is plain old foolishness oh so common to Middle Easterners.
Just remember the bumbling Iraqi soldiers begging for water. That should tell you what happens when your bunkers are busted wide open.
Poor Iranian soldiers will not look any different than their Iraqi counterparts. Relentless bombardment is something that you ought to avoid at every cost.
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
Real armies have the "real weapon" to fight back, not just AK47's to respond to daisy cutters and missiles. Iraqi army was toothless because of decade(s) of sanctions, didn't have a single fighter jet. I'm not saying that it Iran will defeat USA but chances are that Iran will be able to putup a better fight compared to Iraq in case US wages a war without resorting to dismantle its arsenal (like it did with Iraq).
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
If you want go that route, then “real” armies fight face to face, in which the Terrorist US army without air support would be the ones begging for a bottle of water in front of any nation’s soldier. Remeber? Basra was taken after 2 days…or did he really mean weeks? What a joke.
A report from the commanders of the first gulf war stated that the Republican Guard even though taking a sh*tload of firepower from the air and the ground, put up a solid resistance. He admitted that had the US not had the type of weapons they did, then they would have taken a hell of a lot of damage.
Face it, the US soldier (aka terrorist) is a spineless coward.
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
Are you living in 21st century? You know this is surely a problem with Mullahs, Arabs, and their slaves. They are still wandering in world that may have existed 600 years ago.
Modern battles use air power just like sword and shield. Just another tool to make your opponent beg for mercy. Admit it, people who come to a battle unprepared get their @r$$es whooped.
So go clean your eyes and get rid of all that surma. You may be able to see then.
Well US will not be the super power had it not had the weapons. Off course the world will still not be Arabic paradise. As the Nazis or other fascists like Al the Duchay or Hero the Hitto would be ruling the world. Arabs would still be licking boots of the world even after having tones of money.
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
The US is like bully in the schoolyard that picks on the kid a quarter his size, and then brags about how he pummelled him (Shock and Awe), and then tries to be friends with those he’ll know he’ll have trouble with.
Pathetic if you ask me. Uncle Sam is so far up your a** that you don’t know what’s going on.
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
So far we haven't made $tupid decisions at the government level.
However US is certainly up the @r$$ burried knee deep in tribal Arab and tribal Ahhghan countries.
Re: US steps up for attack on Iran
To Realdeal
Would you like to explain a bit more and tell me the names of those people?
