US Primary elections: Who are you rooting for?

Re: US Primary elections: Who are you routing for?

In canada we don’t have the option of buying private insurance. Maybe Quebec does (not sure) but Ontario definitely has no such policy.

It’s not poor at all! My mother in law is a Medicaid recipient and her care is excellent. She goes to a great hospital! Medicaid recipients go to hospitals for pretty much everything and hospitals obviously cannot turn them away. So no their treatment is far from poor. Once you’re in the hospital you are treated well regardless of whether you’re on Medicaid or a PPO plan.

Lifting the standard is easier said than done. I wish people would stop comparing the US with a population of 320 million to countries with a population of less than 80 million or so. There is no comparison. Like it or not, once healthcare becomes universal, the standards inevitably go down because it’s impossible to keep up with the demand and I don’t even want to imagine what would happen to the standards in a country with a population of 320 million.
