I still think Obama is scripted and his foreign policy is out of touch with the reality.
Even Ron Paul said "I support israel" but lobbies and interests groups did filter him out as he still had an "isolationist foreign policy" according to their interests.
McCain will follow the bush policy of bombing here and there [as he said you just do it but don't go and say it in public that I'll bomb you and publically embarrass your ally] and Obama has said to be macho / anti-bush that he will go into Pakistan!
Lets face it guys that americans have found out [or some "career serviceman" in CIA from the 80s is being listened to finally] that you can't win in Afghanistan "without Pakistan". What I think might happen is that if Obama wins, he will still face the electorate as a "black" who will have to be more loyal than the king to prove he is "American". I don't think the doubts raised by the republicans in americans' minds will go away after the election even after an obama victory! It is like the same trick sharif played after karamat's retirement to bring in musharraf because he was an ethnic outsider to the army! The results might take a different course but still the idea is the same!
