This isn’t the first time that baseless and faulty rumors have been spread about U.S. intentions regarding Pakistan’s nuclear assets. As before this type of propaganda only serves to create hysteria, mistrust and fear in the minds of people. There is no truth behind such false statements. We have full confidence in the capability of Pakistani national security institutions of keeping the nuclear assets safe from the hands of extremist elements. Unfortunately, it is the aim of terrorist to acquire control over nuclear assets and threaten anyone who stands against them. Knowing their disregard towards the value of human life, the scenario is gravely worrisome.
Pakistan’s nuclear assets belong to the state, its people and the responsibility of its protection is in hands of one of the best armies in the world. The Pakistani military has our full support in defending and fighting against terrorists who have killed thousands of Pakistani men women and children. These terrorists are attacking and have vowed to increase attacks on the Pakistani military and government. They would like nothing better than to establish their tyrannical regime, just as they did in Swat Valley, over the entire country. Have they ever tried to do anything beneficial for Pakistan, or more specifically in Swat, where they had an opportunity? Is it still not clear, who the true enemy of Pakistan is, when terrorists are murdering innocent Pakistanis?

^^ why it is always about US??? why not about Russia, China or any other country for that matter, yes got it right, because it is US who always have evil intentions towards anyone who help them and have Asian or non-european/jewish roots...
believe it or not, there is nothing good USA can ever do to anyone in the world... read your history, it is there in it... destruction for man-kind and that is it...

I think nuclear assets are useless...nobody would win this war in this era...coventional weapons or suicide bombings stand more chance of a war outcome...hmmmmmmmmm
PS: Had Japan or Germany in the 2nd world war atomic weapons...US might have gone out of its f***ing mind...hmmmmmmmmmm2

Had Japan or Germany used nuclear weapons or had them, then third Reich and a very different Japan might have been present today. Germany came close to sending bombers over New York, where they would deliver their payload and then parachute out for U-boat pickup. Any conventional bombing by Germans would have been a coup not to mention a nuclear attack that would have drastically changed europe and asia.
