Do you read American news papers? Have you heard what Congress wants? They want AQ Khan. The Senate wants to hold hearings on him. The House already made the cuts. What do you think the Senate will do?

Sir, the money Pakistan got in the years 2004 and 2005 was approved, and given to Pakistan before the Earthquake, and I have provided link after link to prove that - with dates and figures.
I follow the proceedings in Congress especially what so many Congressmen are saying about the nuclear deal with India, which is now stuck in a rut despite being agreed almost a year ago. The US Congressmen are adding on more and more demands as the weeks go by

Bill, are you telling me that the US has given more money to Pakistan than promised? Are you telling me thet the billions that were promised over several years have already been given? That is a crock or rubbish.
The money Pakistan was promised needs to be approved every year. This year, being an election year, Congress is not going to do that so easily. They want AQ Khan, they want Pakistan to do more about their jihadis.
As for the India nuclear deal, it’s way off base. But please don’t bring up sour grapes here and convolute this thread.

It’s the army mentality of appearing powerful in front of the locals while begging in front of the foreigners. If it worked during the British days, why not now?

and first, stop begging for nuclear plants from USA, trade routes to central Asia from Pakistan, and Military aid from Russia, France and Israel.
No sorry, we dont want to be self sufficient in poverty, AIDS and human rights violations.
PS. India has nothing self-produced in its armed forces.. all the stuff is bought and borrowed from foreign makers/producers. (e.g brahmos, bm's, LCA, mki etc).

The Congress may want a cut but the Administration is adamant that Pakistan will get the full aid promised. I reckon at the end of the day the administration will prevail. Oviously the U.S will always want Pakistan to be doing more, but reducing aid will be counter productive to their interests.
