Re: US panel backs India nuclear deal
Huge break for india yesterday as senate panel Ok’s the deal to go forward. This was a big hurdle for india as till now there was only speculation about india’s chances being strong. well, with the house passing the bill 37-5 and now the senate passing it 16-2, india is in good position to win the bill in its favor come the full senate meeting.
If this goes through, we are going to see a lot of tension build up in asia. Anyhow, big deal for india if this goes through.
