That's an open secret. Media was reporting Hillary Clinton making calls to both contending party heads to reconcile and reduce the mounting tension.
People were the igniters of it which exerted enough pressure to move the decision.

And US was sitting in isolation somewhere in a cave and suddenly came up with plan that Pakistan should reinstate judges otherwise cut in aid... is this what people are trying to portray?
People in thousands on streets shows a problem in a country and when government starts detention enmasse` just to dent the protests foreign governments/countries start looking with interest. Pakistan being of special interest because of WoT and our politicians being international whores it was going to happen (White House calling at 2:00AM, or whatever time suits them).
